PAR AVION PO DVACETI LETECH – DÍL DRUHÝ

Po dvacet let ležela tato zapomenutá nahrávka v šuplíku. V prosinci 2023 odtajnilo trio Jaroslav Kořán, Petr Varjú a Petr Tichý první část sluncem nevyšisovaného záznamu volné improvizace, která vznikla během prázdninového pobytu v šumavské vísce Mačice. Více než tříhodinový studiový materiál byl vyčištěn, sestříhán. První část nahrávek nazvaná Par Avion (název, pod kterým trio původně vystupovalo) nyní doplňuje část druhá – Fragile.

Toto trio hudebníků nevzniklo roce 2001 kupodivu v letadle, ale v po cestě autem na koncert domovského Zapomenutého orchestru země snivců z popudu tří jeho hráčů. Během následujících tří let odehráli řadu koncertů, na které si často zvali také hosty. Mezi ty exkluzivně stabilní patřil další snivec cellista Richard Horký nebo houslistku Ágnes Kutas a na festival Alternativa 2002 přizvali (ne poprvé) Jennifer De Felice ze skupiny Sledě, živé Sledě. Podle vlastního vyjádření hrají stylově svébytnou improvi­zovanou hudbu, jež se blíží free jazzu, ale obsahuje v sobě i prvky vážné, etnické a ­ambientní hudby.

JAROSLAV KOŘÁN se zabývá hudbou, fotografií, videem a grafikou, jejichž hlavním společným znakem je improvizace. Pravidelně spolupracuje jako hudebník, skladatel a zvukový designer na různých divadelních, filmových, tanečních a výstavních projektech. Hraje na bicí nástroje a perkuse. Inicioval mimojiné založení těles improvizované hudby Zapomenutý orchestr země snivců, Orloj snivců a Třesk.

PETR TICHÝ je hráč na kontrabas. Během studií na Konzervatoři Jaroslava Ježka a jazzo­vém oddělení pražské HAMU (u profesorů Petra Kořínka, Jaromíra Honzáka a Jiřího Slavíka, kurzy u Miroslava Vitouše) se propojil s pražskou jazzovou scénou, kde působí dodnes (Alvik, Floex, Sylvie Krobová, kvintet Marka Novotného, trio NTS, Feng-jun Song a trio Puo, Bran, J. Eoin, Paul Novotný trio, Romanovká–Tichý–Hrubý, Jana Vébrová, ­Ondřej Škoch, Milli Janatková, Třaskavá směs Franty Skály aj.) Vlastní kompoziční i zvukovou tvorbu realizuje projektem HLASkontraBAS v duu s Ridinou Ahmedovou za kterou byli nominováni na cenu Anděl 2016 v kategorii worldmusic.

PETR VARJÚ strávil pár let v Ostrovské dětské dechovce než ho zaujal punk a jazz. Hrál s ­Oswaldem Schneidrem, Dřez Bandem, v Hradním duu, v Náhradním duu, s Úřadem práce, se Strakovým pojízdným cirkusem, Načevou a stejně jako Petr Tichý vystupuje dlouhé roky v Zapomenutém orchestru země snivců.

For twenty years, this forgotten recording sat in a drawer. In December 2023, the trio Jaroslav Kořán, Petr Varjú and Petr Tichý unveiled the first part of the unreleased recording of a free improvisation created during a holiday stay in the Šumava village of Mačice. More than three hours of studio material was cleaned up, edited. The first part of the recordings, called Par Avion (the name under which the trio originally performed), is now complemented by the second part, Fragile.

This trio of musicians was formed in 2001, strangely enough, not on a plane, but in a car on the way to a concert of the home town‘s Zapomenutý orchestr země snivců, at the instigation of three of its players. Over the next three years, they played a series of concerts, often inviting guests. Exclusively steady ones included another dreamer, cellist Richard Horký, and violinist Ágnes Kutas, and for the Alternativa 2002 festival they invited (not for the first time) Jennifer De Felice of the band Sledě, živé Sledě. According to their own statement, they play a style of improvised music that is close to free jazz but also contains elements of classical, ethnic and ambient music.

JAROSLAV KOŘÁN deals with music, photography, video and graphics, whose main common feature is improvisation. He regularly collaborates as a musician, composer and sound designer on various theatre, film, dance and exhibition projects. He plays drums and percussion. He initiated, among others, the founding of the improvised music ensembles Zapomenutý orchestr země snivců, Orloj snivců and Třesk.

PETR TICHÝ is a double bass player. During his studies at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory and the jazz department of the Prague Academy of Performing Arts (with professors Petr Kořínek, Jaromír Honzák and Jiří Slavík, courses with Miroslav Vitouš), he connected with the Prague jazz scene, where he is still active today (Alvik, Floex, Sylvie Krobová, Marek Novotný‘s quintet, the NTS trio, Feng-jun Song and the trio Puo, Bran, J. Eoin, Paul Novotný trio, Romanovká-Tichý-Hrubý, Jana Vébrová, Ondřej Škoch, Milli Janatková, Třaskavá směs Franty Skály, etc.) His own compositional and sound work is realized by the project HLASkontraBAS in duo with Ridina Ahmedova for which they were nominated for the Anděl 2016 award in the world music category.

PETR VARJÚ spent a few years in the Ostrov Children‘s Brass Band before he got interested in punk and jazz. He has played with Oswald Schneidr, Dřez Band, Hradní duo, Náhradní duo, Úřade práce, Strakův pojízdný cirkus, Načeva and, like Petr Tichý, has performed for many years in Zapomenutý orchestr země snivců.
